Head hurts after golf swing?

Tuesday Jan 20, 2009

sometimes when i swing my driver (practice swings with no ball), my head hurts. maybe the vibration produced during the swing goes to my head? any ideas?
maybe i swing too hard?

Either you are swinging waaaay too hard, or you are made out of rubber! Are you sure your not using a Medicus driver? Good luck and don't forget to take a couple Ibuprofen.

What can I do to make my golf swing look very professional?

Tuesday Jan 20, 2009

I am a high school student and I am trying out for my school's golf team. I'm worried that my scores may not be good enough for my schools team (appx. 16 handicap), but I need some tips to at least make my SWING look good. Golfers, any tips would be appreciated

I would recommend a lesson or two. You can dress for success but that still won't make you a success. Scoring makes you a success. Learn to score and you can forget what the swing "looks" like. Low scores win, looks don't
Stick to the basics…grip, club face alignment, stance, posture, proper weight shift on the back swing, proper shoulder turn behind the ball, weight shift forward, allow rear elbow to drop to your hip pocket and follow through with your swing and finish with your belt buckle facing your target and all your weight on your front foot. That is it…..basically.
Good luck!

Make a consistant golf swinging machine?

Tuesday Jan 20, 2009

I am testing golf balls for a science project and was wondering how i would be able to mount a golf club so that it would swing consistantly every time as well as generating enough power for the ball to get off the ground. I am thinking of using springs etc but i dont exactly know what to do. Any help is appreciated and best answers WILL be given
im testing how price affects the golf balls eg do more expensive ones go further

You need to know that your assertion is wrong. More expensive balls often don't go as far as less expensive balls. There are many aspects to golf besides distance. Factors such as ball spin, feel and workability are just as important as distance. An expensive ball may not go as far as a cheap ball, but will spin more, giving more control around the greens. It will also feel software and allow the golfer to control its flight more than a cheap ball.
