I’m really eager to learn everything about this sport. I don’t have money to take some lessons from a pro, but I can go practice on driving range everyday. I’ve been playing it for a month. I try to find a good tutorial on golf swing, but there are only a couple online videos. I think it is hard to define your posture respect on your height. Some guys on the videos have different height also.
Go on to youtube and look for a guy/channel called clemshaw. He’s a pro instructor from canada and he has posted at least 100 videos on youtube.
I use his tips a lot and I think he is great, he really says things in a way that makes everything click in your head, and it’s free.
I'm going golfing for the first time in a couple of years and didn't want to make a fool out of myself. A pictured diagram of foot placement, grip and the actual swing would be perfect.
LOL @ the answer above! One of my all time favorite books on the fundamentals of the swing is David Leadbetter's original book "The Golf Swing". Basic, easy to understand.
Another suggestion is to go out to a local lake or pond and skip a few flat rocks across the surface. Pay attention and feel the motion. Replicate it in your golf swing when you play and you'll be ahead of the curve.
I've been playing golf for 9 years now and i have become preety good at it but i just need that extra bit of work yet to do so i just wanted to know how to improve my swing.
Thanx ever so much

Aligning your body properly when playing golf can help you hit balls straight down your target line; get expert tips on alignment and improving your golf swing in this free golf tips lesson on video.
I have just started hitting balls at a golf simulator. So far I am just on the driving range and do a full swing. Does the swing change when one plays golf on a real course as one gets nearer the green? What I mean is do you hit it with a less full swing or does changing the clubs take care of the differences in distances?
To be completely honeswt with you, your swing should be the same no matter what club you have. The only time your swing changes is with chipping, pitching, putting, and bunker shots. Your swing should be no harder with a driver then it is with a 7 iron. Yes you see the pros swinging a bit harder, but thats cause they are pros. I am a certified pro in Canada and the biggest misconception for people is the harder you swing the farther the ball goes. This is not true. When you swing harder you leave yourself open to changing your swing plane and therefore prone to hooks and slices. The best way to get better is to try and maintain the same swing speed with each club. Adjusting your swing for each club will make the game harder to learn, think of it this way. With 14 clubs in your bag, if you have 14 different swings how hard does that sound. Let the club work for you as thats why they have different degrees of loft. Around the green is where you will need to differ your swing. That just takes time to get used to your style. Remember, play your game, not anyone elses.
In this book you will discover nonnegotiable swing elements, those centered on irrefutable laws of the flight of the ball as well as the full complement of swing components that are negotiable. This eye-opening tutorial will empower double-digit handicap golfers, but can also help anyone from beginners to seasoned to single-digit handicap players. Instructors and coaches will also benefit from a world of ideas on how to assist clients and players that cling stubbornly to their swing mechanics.
For putting…i use the method…4 inches back=10 ft roll…and say peanut during the backswing and follow thru with butter…any similar tips for the golf swing? Been getting pretty good results with this….anything similar to this for a full golf swing?

I am looking to purchase a camcorder to record my golf swing. I am not looking to spend $3,000 on something like the Minolta Swing Vision camera you see them using on TV with the 4000 frames per second. Does anyone have any recommendations for camcorders they have used to record their golf swings that are reasonably priced? Thanks!
The ONLY consumer cameras that even approach what you want are a few of the higher-end Sony consumer camcorders that have the "smooth slow record" feature. Be advised that even though these camcorders are considered "high definition", when the smooth slow record" feature is invoked, the video quality is degraded (and no longer high definition).
